TTM: Wei-Yin Chen

I'M BACK!!! And after exactly a month...

No reason, just because I felt the need to post after being so busy lately. I have also got a few BIG additions to my collection and PC (cough, cough, Fucale...) that I hope to share soon.

But here is what I got in the mail today: a small previously folded envelope with 2 USA stamps on it.

It was a really nice TTM return.

I opened it up, and saw my cardboard protector carefully placed inside with a card inside. Sweet, i sent off a bunch of TTMs a while back and haven't got many back.

Aw shoot. Not another sideways image. Sorry for this...

But what a SICK autograph from the Taiwanese pitcher. Love the autograph - so cool to see an autograph in a native language, like Nikolai Khabibulin's Cryllic auto!

Unfortunately,  I did not prep the card, so it smeared a bit on the protection, but that's OK. I also included a small sticker inside hoping for him to sign to make a custom card, but he did not. I don't blame him though - it was very small and at the bottom of the protection.

Thanks Mr. Chen for the autograph!

ALSO, I have decided to add Wei-Yin Chen to my PC list. So, if you have any of his cards, please LMK!

TTM: Morgan Rielly (And a movie reccomendation)

I'm back everyone!

Sorry it has taken so long for a post. School has recently been very busy and it's tough to sneak a post in with a bunch of projects needing to be completed. PLUS I also had to deal with getting my extremely messy room organized for new furniture, basically emptying it out.

But anyways, mail has been slow for me the past couple of weeks. I had a FedEx truck drop off a new backboard from Spalding this morning as a replacement for a smashed one (Prob. just defected) so I'll be glad not having to try and swish every shot now. ;)

Anyways, I did get a TTM back today, it was one of many I sent out within the past 2-3 months.

This one is from Morgan Rielly, who I consider to be the Leaf's #1 prospect. I sent it to the Marlies right after his Moose Jaw season ended, and am glad it got to him, as I sent it before he was assigned to the team.

Recieved: 1 1/2 / 2

This may be the first - and only - time I classify getting HALF an autograph. As you can see, Mr. Rielly signed the card in a pen (musta ran out at the beginning because he went over it a few times) and added his Marlies #44. And, for some reason he signed the "M" on the decoy but did not seem to finish his autograph? First off, him using a pen is kind of strange - my stereotype is only retired players used pens for TTM's. Him adding his brand new #44 instead of Moose Jaw #4 (as on card) was also... different.

But anyhow, a TTM IS a TTM. And of a top prospect... I'll take that any day of the week. Thanks Mr. Rielly!

ALSO: Yesterday I saw the movie 42. It is a very inspiring movie, very worthwhile. If you get the chance to see it, are bored a night and maybe have a few dollars to spare, definetely see it. It is a movie you can not NOT enjoy as a sports fan. Kudos.

Email Autograph - Kayla Harrison

Okay, I'll eventually get around to do all of the posts I want to post. And I would have, except today I got an envelope in the mail, and when I felt a card inside and saw the return label, I knew exactly where it was from. Take a look:

Sorry for the sideways picture! Anyways, it was an email success. A really nice one! I emailed her (or her fan club?) using the email address from Sports Card Forum. Than I got a reply from her fan club stating they have sent me a card of her's signed. So a few weeks later, I recieved a BRAND NEW card (It lists on the back she won a gold at the 2012 olympics) of this Judoist! Pretty awesome card, she has an amazing autograph and also drew olympic rings and wrote champ under it! Thanks Ms. Harrison for this awesome success!

Cuckoo Cards: 1977-78 O-Pee-Chee Base Anders Hedberg

Give me all your - (drunk cackle that goes hehehehehe) money or else I (same cackle) go nuts and punch out your eye like mine (Notice the black eye, or if not it sure does look like one)

Or you'll go nuts? Anders, you already are. Proof? I got proof. Look at the Caaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrd.
To sum up how awful (or beautiful if you are a card photo critique) this card's photo is, here this.

For April Fool's day, if you have a copy of this card, or if not print out a large colour one from images, tiptoe into the person you want to fool's room BEFORE they are awake, stuff it near their face, and do that "hehehehehe" murderer laugh I was talking about.

Oh, gee, thanks for the idea, brain! I can finally get even at my sister for cracking my beckett graded card's case. BTW that was a 2006-07 Fleer Ultra Gold Medallion Shea Weber RC Graded 10, so all of a sudden this doesn't sound like I'm doing something too bad.

This cards says: LOL and scary of some sort

This card's ranking? Ranking: 5/10.
Additional Comments: 10/10 for laughter, but this is 0/10 because it is way too scary; I'm gonna now have nightmares!

We Can Use This For Flips!
